The London Summer Event Show is an essential event for agents and corporate buyers alike seeking inspiration not only for their summer parties but also for their entire events calendar. Story Events, the creative events agency, organise the show and this year was it’s 10th birthday and it was bigger and better than ever, leaving a trail of inspiration, innovation, and unforgettable experiences in its wake.

Held at the iconic Freemasons’ Hall, the London Summer Event Show showcased the creativity of the events industry with many venues within the Unique Venues of London portfolio exhibiting, and UVL themselves also having a stand.

Moving Venue were thrilled to be the headline sponsor of the event. They curated a diverse menu over the two-day event, offering a tantalising glimpse into their upcoming spring-summer menus.

The first evening, tailored for event agencies, saw a celebration of bespoke cocktails, masterfully crafted with NEFT vodka. These were complemented by a number of circulated small plates and bowl foods, including ‘Summer gazpacho with crab salad, brown crab croutons, watermelon, jalapeno’ and ‘Spiced neck fillet of lamb accompanied by smoked aubergine, pomegranate, salsa verde’.

This year's Agency evening, introduced an unforgettable after-party, inaugurated by the Function Band. Against a backdrop of flowing cocktails and networking, attendees indulged in Moving Venue’s more informal circulated ‘Street Eats’.

As the curtains rose on day two, typically targeted towards corporate event buyers, Moving Venue treated guests to a "Rise and Shine" breakfast, featuring delights such as ‘Avocado, curd, podded peas, toasted seeds, and radish’, along with English fruit pots bursting with seasonal fruits such as brambles and blueberries. The day continued with circulated lunch items such as ‘King prawn slider, xo sauce, pickled cucumber, radicchio’ and ‘Asparagus and ricotta tortellini accompanied by lemon butter, pea shoots, thyme’, both additions to Moving Venue’s Spring Summer menus. To conclude the London Summer Event Show on a high note, a spectacular afternoon tea was served.

With nearly 1,000 attendees across the two days discussing a huge variety of exciting events, the show was a huge success, and Moving Venue are already looking ahead as the catering partner for the London Christmas Party Show due to take place this summer. They hope to see you there!
